Drop down list of options when a flow step is executed

You can call Power Automate flows from the Business Process Flow of a Model-Driven Power App or Dynamics 365 (in case you missed this announcement example here). You can also ask for inputs when you call the flow too - but where is the option to add a drop down list/option set/choice whatever you want to call it now a days!?

Add a text input

Stay with me here - I know it seems wrong, I promise I’ve not lost my mind

Click on the magical 3 dots next to your text input

Choose either multi-select or drop-down list of options from the menu

Add your list of options

Kind of self explanatory but in case you needed convincing it is possible before trying yourself

Use the inputs to drive conditional behaviour in the flow

In this case - I use a different template based on the country of the business I am invoicing, for now its just US & AU. Also its not too tricky to build that logic into the flow but this gives me a way to scale out for different invoice variations for different customers and circumstances in the future.

Hello drop down list!

Maybe this has always been this way, but its news to me - so I’m guessing I’m not the only one that didn’t know this was possible!

Comments and questions welcome 😊
